People of Gilgit and Baltistan have seen one of the worst flood seen in history. Several people have been lost their lives and suffered heavy losses by flashfloods and bad weather in the last week. With the country’s northwest and Baluchistan provinces bearing the brunt of the storms, officials of the metrological department a large number of populations left under the open sky. The disaster management cell declared a state of emergency in the whole area.
An exclusive footage of the natural disaster was received from Gilgit by media team of our web department. It shows the intensity of the flood in the area. Looking at the footage one can realize that how people would be suffering in the area. It was a disaster which affected every living and non living in the area. The meteorological department said in its reports that in next few weeks of monsoon there would be more heavy rains and thunder storms will come.
Such type of severe flood and disasters are because of the excessive pollution in the world, according to the Metrological department experts. It’s a routine not only in Gilgit and Baltistan but most parts of the country, every year thousands ofpeople suffer with every type of losses due to these incidents.
These all flood is caused by the humans themselves. Due to a dangerous amount of pollution in the air, the snows on the glaciers have started evaporating at a very fast speed. When heavy rain falls every year, the rain water brings flash flood with it from these glaciers. The meteorological department experts said that if people did not control the pollution, very soon it will be very difficult to control such disasters.
